The participants of the Indaba Workshop Series have become the Indaba Action Team providing activities for the shoreline community to share information about issues related to racism and provide opportunity for discussion to support greater knowledge and deeper understanding of this important topic.
At this time, there have been 2 cohorts of community members, who have participated in the Indaba Workshop Series and have held several activities for the community and others in the planning.

Race: Conversations Among the Curious was a series of community discussions in 2023 which presented TED talks from speakers like Thurston Baratunde’s on “How to Deconstruct Racism, One Headline at a Time” and Verna Myers; “How to overcome our biases? Walk boldly towards them”.
